Stay Strong

If you watched it(I did ;p ), then you know how emotional, powerful, and touching it was.
Demi Lovato opened up and revealed her darkest most deepest secrets ever.
She is inspiring and strong for coming out and talking about her struggles and what she went through.
Not many people going through that get up in front of millions and say, "I cut" or "I had/have an eating disorder" or even say "I'm bipolar".
It takes so much to get up and tell the truth when honestly, you yourself are still battling every single day to face the truth.

Because Demi opened up about her struggles, it's given me the strength to stay strong and take a further step to recovery myself. I don't want to. I am far from wanting to recover...But, it's something I need to do to better myself.

So with that being said, I am going to start up a new blog following my daily life and my struggles as well as recovery. It's saying that I am taking a step towards recovery and putting my story out there. Hopefully by doing so, it'll help other people going through they're own issues and struggles.

In Demi's words;
"I felt like I was living a lie. I was dealing with all this pain emotionally and I felt guilt and shame. I decided to take it out on myself."

"You can lose all the weight in the world, but it's never going to be enough. For me, it was an obsession of the mind."

'One of the hardest things was learning I'm worth recovery. And I'm allowed to celebrate it.'

“Every time someone asked me for a picture or an autograph…I remember you’re nothing without this person.”

"I was reading comments from strangers online saying this girl looks horrible she looks fat”

"I didn't think that I had a problem. I knew what I was doing was wrong, but I never could admit I had a problem because I never thought it was bad enough."

""I went into treatment and I realized I could use what I was there for to help others. So why not air all my secrets and tell my story? Cause some people need to hear it."

If you or someone you know is going through emotional struggles, log onto,

Or call 1-800-273-TALK(8255) to talk to someone immediately to have a confidential conversation.

Always remember, it does get better in the end.

Demi Lovato's Stay Strong Airing on MTV

Some of you Lovatics out there probably already know this!
But tonight, Dei Lovato's special on MTV called,
"Stay Strong"
will be airing tonight at 10pm!

I am going to watch it.
I am proud to say that I myself, am a proud Lovatics :)
I support Demi 100% and then some.
Not for just coming out and revealing this huge part of herself but for being herself. Admitting that there was a problem and she got help for it. Some celebs choose to keep stuff like this to themselves. But Demi Lovato choose to let it out, talk about it and, go to rehab.
I support her because she is being true to herself and is being honest to her fans.

I support her because I too can say, I know how hard it is to give up that side of yourself that's been with you for years. That is in fact, a part of you.

I started cutting when I was 13 on Valentines Day back in

08. I became depressed and turned to that one thing, I should have never picked up. I struggled for 3 1/2 years with horrible additions. But somehow, I managed to let it all go. It wasn't easy and at times, I wanted to just give up. But I didn't. I still struggle every single day. But I'm staying strong.
I respect Demi for not giving up and
staying strong :)

"Love is louder than the pressure to be perfect." ~Demi Lovato.
