Sorry I've been away for a while...

I've had some family issues going on and right now, it's pretty stressful time.
But, a few weeks ago, I sent one of my friend who is having a baby boy soon, my very own first baby booties(Ever crocheted).
Surprisingly, they turned out WONDERFUL!
Everyone loved them.
I was so happy when she asked me to crochet some b.c me being a self-taught crocheter, I don't really now a lot of patterns. So, I got on the internet and started looking for cute yet easy baby booties. Sadly, I could not find any good booties and then when I did, they were too big for a newborn baby and as much as I changed the hook size, it just wouldn't fit.
So, I discarded those patterns and decided to make my own patterns.
Amazingly, they came out perfect, I was just so happy!
I'll post the pictures below so you guys can see them. And, just so everyone knows,
My patterns are not for sale and will not be given out, so save yourself the trouble and please do not ask for the patterns.

Sending off those baby booties have made me feel so good, that I'm now starting to make business cards and an email for orders and what not.
All of this will be set up shortly just as soon as everything with my family is straightened out.
So just wanted to get the update out and I will hopefully be back soon, enough!

Also, my nana is really sick...and she is dying. Her liver is failing and has breasts cancer...I ask out of the bottom of my heart, please pray for her. Pray that she gets better and everything will be fine...Please?

Cyber-Bully

I was watching the new ABC Family movie, Cyber-Bully starring Emily Osment. It's about a girl who gets bullied over the internet. It's an intense movie and hard to watch. But the sad reality is, it's also a true story. Millions of people get bullied almost everyday at school or over the internet. Not only is bulling a crime, but it's also a crime that can lead to suicide or injury. The reality is, so many teens, children, adults take the abuse until one day they crack. Either they try and commit suicide or they get even...
When I was a little kid, I lived in Germany. Around that time, I was bullied. Almost everyday and it made me so mad that at the time, it wasn't allowed to fight back in school. I was told I wasn't pretty, I had horrible hair, I couldn't sing and I should stop trying to pretend I could sing...I don't remember much of what happened after schooled ended and I went home, but I know that it did hurt. And till this day, I still remember it all like it was just yesterday.
Not only was I bullied in school, but I was also cyber-bullied...I was cyber-bullied for...I can't even remember, maybe since I've been 15(I'm 17 now) and to be honest, I still AM being cyber-bullied...Ugly is the common word I'm called...Weird is another...Strange, crazy, different...And you know whats even sad? Most of these names, expected for ugly, I'm called by one of my friends...
I have really low self-esteem...And being bullied in school was enough. Now, cyber-bullying? Really?...I can't take anymore name calling...I've cracked before, I don't want to crack again b.c of this...Which is why, instead of just sitting by and doing nothing, I'm going to try my best and do something about it. B.c there are a lot of people out here being bullied and they sure as hell don't deserve it...
I'm doing my best to ignore the words I'm still being called. Yes, it does hurt, and yes, sometimes it does break me down...But, I can't let them have that satisfaction of breaking me...And neither can you. You very well, can do something as well about bullying...All kinds. This isn't the last of this post. here will be more on cyber-bullying.
So, comment below...Also, please check out the ABC Family original movie, Cyber-Bully...It's 300% worth it.

Orders in!!!

So, you know all these blogs out here who give away freebies and what nots?
Maybe it's time I start making a few changes to my blog?
Starting sometime this year, I'll consider on giving away freebies and crocheting stuff you can buy.
In order to win the freebies, you would have to comment below OR send an email stating why you'd like the freebie, what you would do with it, and such.
As for the crocheting's and other stuff that wouldn't be a freebie,
you'll have to have a paypal account, and email me(just like above) why you'd like this item, how'd you use it, and stuff like that.
I'll post more details about this later in the months as I get closer to giving stuff away.
Just comment below and tell me what you think about the idea!

Peta2 has the right insight on some things

WARNING!!!!
WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE, HEAR, AND WATCH IS NOT SOMETHING INTENDED FOR CHILDREN OR TEENS UNDER THE AGE OF 15!
IF YOU ARE NOT 15 OR OLDER AND STILL WISH TO CONTINUE,
I SUGGEST HAVING AN ADULT OR SOMEONE OLDER SUPERVISING YOU AND THIS VIDEO.
IF YOU ARE NOT 15 OR OLDER AND DO NOT WISH TO CONTINUE,
PLEASE LEAVE NOW!!!!
This video is not for the faint hearted.

"If slaughterhouses had glass walls,
everyone would be vegetarian."

If half you readers and bloggers out there saw what I saw,
you'd understand what sorrow, pain, and disgust I am feeling.
There's not much I can say about this.
It breaks my heart that these animals go through so much just for humans to eat and survive.
Today, while watching a video,
I found myself thinking;
"I wonder what Jesus would think if he saw how we killed for meat these days..."
I'm a member of Peta2 and I've been helping with a lot of peta stuff.
I don't like peta. Never have. But, there are times where I WILL support what peta does b.c some of what they stand for is actually very good and worth teaming up for.
It's a love/hate relationship with me and Peta.
I don't like eating meat, I am 300% against it.
But sadly, there's not much I can say or do about it.
Or much ONE person can do to bring awareness.
So, as a
Peta member myself,
I urge you to sign up and take part of what Peta stands for.
I have a "free for all" T-shirt my bf got for me, and my voice mail on my cell is a Peta recording from Silverstein.
They have other recordings as well, so check them out.
And, if you sign up now,
you can get enough points to buy yourself a shirt and other things.
You'll also get to enter for some free stuff.
Need better reasons to sign up and take part?
Check out this site and video.

http://www.meat.org/

For me, this isn't all I will be doing.
I'm going to take a stand.
I'm going to bring awareness of animal cruelty around my community with my local newspaper, schools, and anything else I can try and do.
I might even take this big.
So, help out and join. If your already apart of this,
comment below and tell me what you did to help, how/if your life has been changed by this, and what your doing to be bring awareness to animal cruelty where you live.
As corny as this may sound;
Together, we CAN make a difference and stop animal cruelty.

http://features.peta2.com/rescue/default.aspx

"Each year, about 6 to 8 million dogs and cats are taken to animal shelters in the U.S.—and nearly half of them must be euthanized because of a lack of good homes. You can help!"

Summer around the brink of docks, while the water is warm!

Yesterday for the first time in my entire life,
I went to the beach :)
It was very nice and the water felt wonderful(Not to mention so did the sand!)
A taste of what my summer really will be like!
Sadly, I didn't get much of a tan,
but my skin is so soft, now.
It's a miracle!

Now, with most of you readers and blogsters out there,
you've already been to the beach many times before.
And that's perfectly fine.
While in the hotel room, I had no wi-fi(could have gotten it, didn't want to hook up to a random wi-fi) so, to keep myself from being really bored at night, I read this book called,
"Madison" by M.B. Forester-Smythe.
It's a short story, maybe a little too rushed for my liking, and not so clear at first(IMO).
But overall, the book is still a great romance and you find yourself not wanting to put it down once you pick it up.
It's only on NOOK and iPod/iPhone's iBook.
Now, since I have neither a Nook or an iPhone, I used my iPod(no wi-fi needed if you already have the books in your iBook library) to read it.
I couldn't put it down. So, check it out if you have a Nook, iPhone, or like me, an iPod :)
I was a little disappointed it was a short book, but still.
Check it out, only has 164 pages to it(from what I remember) and tell me what you think down below in the comment section or via email ^^
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Madison/MB-Forester-Smythe/e/2940011128226/?itm=1&USRI=madison

As for MY book read of the summer, I have;
1. Last Song(I've read it before but, it's a nice beach book)
2. Mercy(I don't have the book but, I'm planning on buying it) If you have the current Seventeen issue, you'll see the preview page for it.
3. We'll always have summer(Needing to buy it)
4. Lost Voices(needing to buy it)
So, most of these books, I need to buy. But, I'm going to read a free sample of them on my iBook.
If YOU have any good read's YOU like to read for the summer, post it below in the comment section and I'll check it out.
Bikini's are almost in season for some teens, and already IN season for others.
So get out your bikini, and start strutting it!
Don't forget the sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and a beach towel!
And have fuun at the beach!
Until the next post, I'm outtie!
Peace~

Prom!

So, my prom was this past April 9th.
It was tons of fun. I'm a really shy girl and I don't really dance out in public. But, I date actually got me dancing and I must admit, it was much more fun then I had expected.
We(my date and our friends) went to eat at a nice Italian restaurant, then to prom, then went bowling. It was an awesome night but sadly, I got sick afterward(Throat infection). It was horrible. My throat hurt so bad, I could hardly talk. It hurt to open my mouth, and eat. Only thing I could eat was ice cream and ice. I spent a full week in bed. But ofc, it was all worth it b.c I got better, and I had fun at prom.
Down below is the comment box, I want you bloggers, readers, AND vloggers to post how your prom was(if you've been already) or, post when your prom is and what you'll be wearing and ur plans for afterwords.
Sounds good?
Also, you can either send an email to me or comment below in the box. Either way, I'd love to hear about your prom :)
So until next time, peace~

Spring Frings and Bikini's~

Okay so, I know I've been really extremely busy and in my last post I said I'd try and post more often and obviously that was a fail but, I am going to try again. B.c, my favorite time of Spring and Summer are coming up!
Breaks :)
But as you can tell the title of my post, "Spring Frings and Bikini's"
some of you may not know what that means or is.
It's my way of saying, "things I'm into this Spring." or w/e.
If that doesn't make any sense, then just leave a comment below and I'll try my best to explain it to your understanding :3
Alright so, I'm 16 and I'm just now starting to buy the swimwear and what not's of Spring Break and Summer Va-k.
I'm not into showing the whole bikini's on the beach(I've never been to the beach before) and tans and all the other stuff girls these days are into.
But now that I'm getting older, I'm starting to care about only half percent of that stuff. I like my shade of color so tans aren't my things and if so, I'd choose self-tanning.
The only reason why I'm starting to care about bathing suits is b.c I saw this cute bikini at Target and fell in love with it. Now, it's way cuter in person than the picture.

http://www.target.com/Xhilaration-Juniors-Embellished-Bikini-Swimsuit/dp/B004JL83G4/ref=br_1_26?ie=UTF8&node=16011371&sessionID=182-1899035-7357945&searchSize=90&searchView=grid3&searchPage=1&sr=1-26&qid=1303673203&rh=target_com_primary_color-bin%3APink&searchBinNameList=target_com_category-bin%2Cstyle_name%2Ctarget_com_size-bin%2Ctarget_com_primary_color-bin%2Cprice%2Ctarget_com_brand-bin&searchRank=salesrank&frombrowse=1

Trust me, if you haven't seen this one in Target(which you prolly have b.c it's in target) it's really cute in person.
I don't like sunscreen that much but, when it's really hot and sunny out, I do use it b.c I'm super protective(I'm guessing that's the word I'm looking for here. Not really sure) about my skin.
I've been thinking a lot about setting up my own vlogs but, I'm always so busy to even blog, I doubt I'd have time to vlog. But, maybe next year I'll take some time out to vlog or I'll at least reconsider it again.

Alright, I have a question for you bloggers, vloggers, and readers.
What are YOUR Spring Frings?
Leave a comment down below if you are a reader or a blogger.
If your a vlogger, then make a video and post the link below.

And I guess that's it! :)
Like I said, I will try and post more often.
Oh, and send me emails!
I enjoy fan mail~
And have a great Spring Break and oh, one more thing before I forget!
I'll be posting another post up titled, "Prom"
So, check back soon for that post!
